One to One Million

One Million Trees Planted

Can you hear the wind whistling through the leaves? That’s the sound of Project Forest planting its millionth tree.

A non-profit created to serve the earth, Project Forest partners with conservation groups, First Nations, and funding partners to enrich communities by planting forests.

Each tree planted has a significant impact on the environment and those who enjoy it. Our forests:

“There is magic happening on Siksika Nation!”

The Project Forest Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program is a collaboration aimed at bringing urgently needed trees to the community over five years, addressing the lack of natural infrastructure in both residential and agricultural areas.

Thanks to contributions from our funding partners, we have planted the first 136,000 of 1 million seedlings in the Siksika Shelterbelt.
